My washing machine broke. Poor old gal was just worn out. She just couldn't spin anymore.
So Hubs, sweet man that he is, bought me a new one!
Ain't she sweet!
We went out yard selling today and found this Sweetie! Don't you love the vintage green wash tub!
Since I really did need a new washer, we also bought this MATCHING set!
Our town is very small. There is not a yard sale on every corner, like in the desert. We bought this used set from a man parked in the middle of town with the set on a flatbed trailer. Delivery was free!
We had a wonderful day!

I'm back to school. The children arrive on Tuesday. 23 bright eyed little kinder-kids! I can't wait!
Alaska was wonderful. Truly a trip of a lifetime.
These pictures were taken out the window of the Alaska Railroad Train with my IPad.
If you have ever dreamed of going to Alaska, DO IT!
It is amazing!

ReplyDeleteHi, Patti,
ReplyDeleteI am so glad you were able to find a new washer and dryer. A gal has got to have a washer and dryer!! I love your antique one, too. Lucky you to have been able to visit Alaska. I have wanted to take an Alaskan cruise for quite a while. I didn't know about the railroad trip. It looks absolutely beautiful there! Wishing you a wonderful school year with your little ones!! Blessed September week to you~Vicki
It's tough when the ol' gals loose their spin :( I think I like that rusty charmer more than your new set! I wonder what you've got planned for her? I hope you have a great year ahead in school (just dropped off an extremely shy little 4-year old at Jr Kinder this a.m.). Your Alaska trip sounds amazing, and I'm sure I'll be out there one day to experience all that beautiful scenery. Wendy
