Rain or Shine!

I have 4 short weeks till this kinder year is over. I do have a very sweet class. I have enjoyed the children very much. But, I have been busy!

Hubs and I celebrated our 60th Birthdays together. My family gave us a wonderful party! My sister in law Carlene hosted and decorated their home for the gorgeous, yet casual event.

Carlene made everything so pretty. It had just rained, so everything was fresh and the light was lovely.

The BIG surprise is that our daughter Lynea flew in from Colorado with the three Grandkids! We had no idea they were coming!
From left: Grandson Ben, daughter Lynea, Hubs, me, son Matt, granddaughter Savannah, and grandson Trevor in the front.
What a fun day!

And today while working in the yard after work, it began to rain. I took a few pictures because again, the sunlight shining thru the clouds was just so pretty.

I'll try to catch up again soon. In the meantime, blessings to you all!

  1. Happy 60th Wedding anniversary!! How very sweet to have a party for you and I love decorating. Gave me a couple ideas for my Mom's 80th birthday that will be at my house! Tomorrow we are celebrating 26 years of wedding "bliss"!! ( I was married before and that was for 14 years, so I've been married 40 all together, LOL)
My grandgirl is out of school that first Friday in June.

  2. Happy Birthday to you and your hubby! It was nice to see your picture. I think thats the first time Ive seen a picture of you! great party pics! And how awesome that your daughter and her family surprised you!!! that has to be the best gift of all!
have a great weekend my friend!

  3. Looks like a BEAUTIFUL celebration for you and your sweetheart. Happy 60th my friend. You look so happy in these pictures.

  4. What a wonderful celebration to have your daughter and grands too! Happy belated birthday! Welcome to the school year countdown! I know my elementary school social worker husband is definitely ready to have some time off to recharge this summer. It's a bitter sweet time watching Emma finish up high school. Sigh.

  5. Hi Patti, I was thinking about you today. I'm sure you are busy with school. I'm sure summer flew by way too fast!

Thank you so much for visiting! May your day be blessed!
Hugs, Patti
