I Have Trigger Finger

The middle finger of my right hand has been bothering me for weeks now. According to the Internet, I have "trigger finger".

Guess I've used my glue gun too much!
I taped my finger up with band aides nice and tight and decorated the family room a bit.

It's nice too see the cute Valentine things I've collected and that swappy friends have made for me.

More Valentine Love coming!

  1. I had that problem with my thumb and thought moving it would help- went to the doctor and found out NOT to move and it would heal. Worked!
    Take care! :o) Cheryl

Take care of that finger, that can be really painful.

  3. I have had two trigger fingers. One I had surgery on. The other one I had a cortisone shot. I can't believe that the shot took care of it. Wish I would have had that option the first time. I have another finger thst has a little catch in it. It was there when I had the first one but it never progressed. Good luck with yours.

  11. Hi Patti, Oh my! I am crushing on all of your projects this morning. Your room looks wonderful. Love the Valentine tree, you are so clever. The filing cabinet that you painted and decorated is outstanding and then the post below that one . . . where you show your kitchen stove. I am drooling over that stove, it would look perfect in my kitchen, too :) I've been a follower of yours for a long time and would absolutely be on cloud nine if you were to return and follow me back. I think that we have a lot in common.

  13. 1st - love the Valentine decorations and thanks for stopping by my blog. I am a trigger finger sufferer. When my finger (left thumb) first started "clicking" I thought it was just goofy. Until it refused to snap open or closed. Bracing it did nothing and I ended up getting cortisone shots in my hand. This is not fun. Since then I have had it again twice in the same thumb and in two different fingers at two different times. The only thing that helps is the cortisone shots. My doctor keeps telling me that there is a limit as to how many times I can get the shots and that I need to have surgery, which is out patient and takes just a few minutes. Unfortunately it is followed by six weeks of rehab and I just can't make the time. Luckily I keep talking him into the shots! Good luck!
