Joy to the World!

It's Christmas Morning!

Santa arrived in the wee hours when Hubs and I were nestled in our cozy bed.

May your Christmas be Merry and Bright!
*********

My children are not with us on this special day. They are grown, and live too far for hot chocolate visits. I almost didn't decorate this year. Do you know the feeling? Hubs lugged in 25+ bins and I sorted and smiled at Christmas memories. I have so many cute things. I do love Santa...especially the bright vintage red Santa of my youth.

Merry Christmas everyone. The Lord has blessed us.

  3. Merry Christmas, Patti! What sweet and charming images of Christmas in your home. Yes, of course I know the feeling, and to be honest, this year is one in which I didn't get a chance to decorate my own home back on the island, but I am blessed to be with my daughter at this time in my hometown of Toronto, Canada.

Thanks for making my day a little brighter with your own decorative delights!

  4. Your home is always so much fun to see. I have the same Santa like your one in the wagon. It's hard when family is away. I miss my Colorado kids so much. I think this has been the longest time between visits. We have the rest of the family near by so I am not complaining. Many Hugs. Hope you get to visit with them soon.

  6. Love seeing all your wonderful Christmas pieces and the kitchen and stove are always favorites of mine !! I haven't put up a tree in a really long time, sort of living between places and unsettled. Looking forward to getting all my "stuff" in one place and being closer to my daughter and her husband in Birmingham. Thanks for the visits and really sweet comments ... yes I have considered doing stories with my little creatures. I have done a couple and sent them to my 4 year old twin niece and nephew they got a big kick out of them. So much pleasure in seeing simple things like that thrill a child. I'm glad you decided to decorate I enjoyed seeing it !! XO E
