No Pain, No Gain!

Our sweet granddaughter Savannah got fitted with braces. She told Papa her mouth hurt.

Uncle Matt said to put wax on them. He even sent an Amazon link where you could buy the wax.

I said I remember the pain well, even though it was over 45 years ago.

I grind or clinch my teeth at night. I dream I can't get the blasted headgear off. Do kids have to wear headgear anymore?

  1. Although Emma has been brace free for two years, I remember all the pain and soft food dinners after adjustments. I imagine braces will be in Josie's future in a few years. Best wishes to your granddaughter.

  2. Ouch, they look painful, though look at the cool designs they have for kids now! I should have had braces as a kid, wasn't in the budget so maybe I was lucky? :)
